EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

Graduates of the postgraduate programmes of the Department may be employed in:

1. Veterinary clinics, medical centres and hospitals, as specialist veterinary surgeons.
2. Livestock divisions of Federal and State Ministries of Agriculture and Natural Resources
3. Institutions of higher learning and research institutes, as teaching and/or research staff in veterinary surgery.
4. The Veterinary Division of the Police, National Drug & Law Enforcement Agency, Customs and Excise Department and in the Armed Forces.
5. Private Farms and Research Centres.
6. They may also be self employed.
